WRITING WORKSHOPS

Here are three ways to feed the need to write.  Three ways to loosen the bindings that hold you back.  Three ways to answer the question “Can I write?”  Each choice encourages you to develop and explore your writing voice.  Each will provide a sanctuary, a safe haven, in which everything we write is considered to be fiction and we focus only on what’s working in the freshly written piece.  For those who are far away and cannot attend in person, there is the Writing Lite choice which gets you to the page with emailed prompts and access to a blog site just for the group where you can share your work and comment on the work of others (only what is working and what stays with you!!  We will always stick to those rules).

All of these choices provide a space to free your voice, have some fun and do amazing work!

Monday Morning Drop-In - every other week beginning Monday 2/13 10 AM-11:30. One writing prompt with discussion plus opportunity to read and discuss work brought from home. Drop in rate $18  Sign up for 4 sessions for $60

Wednesday evenings - every other week beginning Wednesday 2/22 7-9:30 PM.  Each session includes several short and long writing prompts, reading and discussion, tips on craft and emailed prompts during the off week with access to a private, just for members, blog where you can share your work. $120 for 4 sessions

Writing Lite – An emailed prompt every other week and access to a private, just for members, blog.  You can share your writing on the blog site and comment on the work of others (what’s working and what stays with you as the reader)  $10/month – contact me to set up a way to pay through PayPal

Take Route 24 West for approximately 5 miles to Cherry Lane. (Alcott Manor on the left just before Cherry Lane). Turn right on Cherry Lane and continue to the stop sign. The Brookside Post Office is across the street and The Room Above is just to the right, above The Art Studio.
